It's 2012! 1.29.12
I know we haven't been here for a whole eight months now. It's already 2012! I keep going back to the website, thinking of writing a new post, but never actually getting myself to sit down and write one. And sometimes I wonder if this website is still going on, since it hasn't been updated recently. But I decided to take the initiative today.
So, it's Regents week, which means a whole 12 days of break for us.. College apps are over for us, but all these financial aid applications are just piling up. It's like a snowball getting bigger and bigger as it comes rolling down towards me...
Speaking of snow, this winter was snow-less. If that makes sense. We had about two, or one day of snow. There's still one more month of winter left; I hope it'll be snow-filled!
And when winter is gone, college decisions are going to come in... I can't believe I'm graduating this year, and going to college in several months. It's going to be exciting, but at the same time, it's like taking another step up the ladder, and not being able to step back down. I imagine college life to be a sign of being an adult, independent and filled with more responsibilities and burdens. It feels like a final declaration that I'm no longer a kid. I guess we'll have to keep looking into the future. Wonder where it'll take me.

The APs are over! My workload has significantly decreased the past week, but I'm still busy all the time. What I need is a day or two of vacation (Memorial Day coming up!), and perhaps, a crazy rollercoaster ride. I need to get all this stress off my back.
Nowadays, I've been thinking very hard. I just can't stop coming up with new ideas and jotting things down on random scraps of paper. I think I'll need a notebook just for all my random thoughts. :) It gets a little crazy sometimes, but I like that I am constantly coming up with ideas and thoughts.
Anyway, I can't wait for the weekend. Good luck to all Twainers at their Spring Instrumental Concert.

wow, really? we all forgot to post something on New Year's. So, 2010 passed, just like that. And daayum, a year just passes by real quick. I can still recall last new year's waiting for 2010... And daaang, I'm past halfway through High school. Wayy too fast. Okay, so like, nothing's changed.
But, hoping for a better year! It seems like everyone's just doing the same... ya know what i mean? just hoping for a new year, as if it's going to magically change. But they never realize that they gotta really take that step, and work towards their goal. Well, I will be taking that step onto the next cloud, working towards my destination.
Alright, so. resolutions?
1) good sat score
2) 100+ average third marking period
3) do really well on finals so that i can reach goal 2
4)do more housework
5)decrease arguments with my brother, sister, mom, dad

Good news! I got the position for the Model UN Conference. :D Yayyyy. I shall treat myself to Red Mango at the 32nd St. Grand Opening.
Govt test got delayed, so that means I go swimming again today. Can't wait for vacation too, I need to get all this work off my back. Tomorrow's an especially hectic day (When is it not?) I don't think we'll be getting our money back, the only other option is to go to the afternoon class for Saturday or go to the one in Forest Hills on Sunday.

first of all, thanks for the congrats viv. secondly, can't wait for veterans and then THANKSGIVING. wooooots. four day weekend. i love november for this. But, we have to wait one whole week of school after veterans day and then thanksgiving. But it's all good cause it's coming.
ummmm, not much to say. second marking period going to end soon. More seat changes in bio class and apush class...
also, not much to talk about these days... everyday is school and homework. and then once in a while, if there's a debate round, it excites me.
nhs career day the coming saturday. gonna miss another saturday at ivybound. hope i can get my money back. so expensivo.

Can't wait for Veteran's Day! School stressful. Going back to gym now, so I'm exercising every single day. :) I shall build up my abs. Going swimming again today too. My goal is to break the 50 meter record (the one set in the gym, that is.) Anyway, I hope that everything turns out well and that winter starts soon! I've been hearing holiday songs in my head since the summer. <3 Vacationnnnnnnnnnnnnn.

So so so, i have a story to tell. On Thursday, I was fooling around/hanging out in the halllway on the third floor with my friends and dropped my friend's ipod in the elevator shaft. And then on that Friday, there was some party to win an ipod nano. My two other friends and I attended to the party. Thanks to my friend's costume and her encouragement, I was finally able to win the ipod at the end. After winning, we couldn't wait to see my other friend's reaction to the ipod. :D Happy story ends here... LOL moral of the story, 1. karma exists 2. don't hang out too hard 3. dancing well can get you places 4. good friends will always be there for ya

Woke up at 9 today. Had a great dinner at ichiumi with jovivdra yesterday. Paid forty bucks for that dinner. But, didn't get to eat forty dollars worth :[

It's junior year, and junior year is harder than I thought. Or maybe it's that I'm slacking off more than I thought. Getting 70s in almost all my classes. Gotta bump it up! Hopefully, I can get back my grades to what I had last year! or even higher! But yeah, life is good... PSAT this wednesday :[
Anyway, I was doing my homework today and I thought of a plan to make biannual ichiumi worth it next time! LOL. This is what I plan to eat/do next time:
1. get water, instead of lemonade
2. eat 12 pcs of sushi with fish eggs, soy sauce, wasabi
3. a little bit of kimchi rice, because i looove it
4. one crepe with chocolate drizzle
5. one udon or ramen noodle
6. some clams and other seafood, cuz seafood's expensive!
7. cheesecake, fruit tart
8. green tea ice cream, red bean ice cream. Mango ice cream wasn't that tasty :/
9. have some fish, and other exotic stuff at the hot food bar
10. camwhore in bathroom keke.
Yeah, this is just a reference for next time!

Red Mango is amazing! I had free froyo two days in a row and met Dan Kim. Tried the raspberry flavor today, it has a subtle flavor and is simply delicious. Very very tired right now. Hope tomorrow's going to feel like a longer day. Lots of work, but can't wait for Friday. :)

sososoosossoos, yeah since joanne updated this website, i thought i should update it kindish too! :D regents is coming up and yeah im screwed. :( i have 3 regents in a row and my head is about to explode! i really really really really pray that vivian and joanne would do excellente on the regents and finals and AP's. GOODLUCK! and after all those school stuff, maybe jovivdra can have a little reunion? lmao well more like jo and viv reunite with dra. JO HERE. The last time we wrote a post was last year. We are halfway done with the new year, and here I am writing a new post. Much have gone by. Finals and AP's will be done on Monday. After regents are done, I will be finally done with sophomore year! (:
Moving onto junior year makes me feel old. Soon we will be out of high school and be independent college students. I don't want to get old so fast. :[ I hope all will be good this summer. ^^
I can't wait to go to six flags and washington DC with CPC this month. It will be so fun because I will be with my fellow CPC people. CPC has been a great volunteering place and gave me a chance to hang out with my Twain friends.
Speaking of Twain friends, I miss them a lot..., Sandra! if you're reading this, I'm talking about you too!<3
Writing on this site makes me reminiscent of strings talent. I miss the days we sit together in our neat ensemble. I can imagine violins and violas up upon our shoulders; cello and basses held tightly ready to play. Ms. Jacobs, (now, Mrs. Baumgaurdt) raises her conductor stick and we all play. I can still remember those beautiful notes when we all fit into a nice harmony, (sometimes it's not a harmony because we're so out of tune, haha) playing some pieces like hopak, lullaby, pirates of carribean and jingle bells. I remember how I used to complain having to hold up my violin, practicing for three periods long. I would like to relive those moments again. I feel like I'm writing some kind of novel. But I have to admit Ms. Jacobs was right when she told us, we will never feel something like that again. Those precious moments sitting in black chairs, facing a black stand with black notes on a white sheet of paper, in an exotic purple room. Sometimes, I still think about strings talent and feel happy I went through such a beautiful experience.
About the future, summer is coming! I can't wait to go swimming again, with my friends. It's been a while. This summer, I hope to get together with some elementary school and Twain friends.
About the present, I scraped my chin yesterday because I was playing tag. It's swollen now. :[ I hope it heals soon, because I look so funny and my chin feels so weird. That's about it for this post. (:
